Seeing the old farming machineries at my farm, make me wonder how hard it was in the earlier days for our forefathers to keep going and growing as FARMERS.
It's not at all easy these days too, but comparatively lots of things have been eased off. This is the diesel machine that was used to draw the water from deep wells. Forget other hardships, even bringing the fuel(diesel) from the nearby town, then to the farm from the village was a pain itself. That too on Bullock carts.
That's why it is said, THANK FARMER BEFORE AND THEN GOD WHENEVER YOU ARE EATING THE FOOD.
